Anti-Flag is always a good show. But seeing them 10 days before the election -- wow. Wow wow wow.

Rancid, of course, was awesome. But the real punk rock moment of the night was when The Aquabats introduced two 3-year-old fans to stage-diving. The tykes were dying to try it. And the lead singer was happy to oblige. But lacking the capacity to jump on their own, he THREW them -- with a hefty lob and a decent amount of airtime -- into the pit, where they surfed (safely) back down to the ground. The entire house went NUTS with cheers -- partly because of the novelty, and partly because of the fact that such a brazen act of sheer fun is all but unheard of in a 21st-century litigation-happy world.
